Living abroad does not have to mean living away from your dharma. DharmikYatra is built for NRIs and the diaspora who want to take their parents on Char Dham, perform a gotra-correct ancestral ritual, mark a child’s mundan at the family kuldevta shrine, or simply give the next generation the gift of a real darshan. One team takes care of the whole DharmikYatra end-to-end — flight booking and pickup at your home, VIP and skip-the-line darshan, senior-friendly pacing, festival and Kumbh darshan timed to your DivineYatra, verified stays, meals and a guide, and a safe return — all with a single coordinator who works in your time zone. No prices on this page; everything is quoted transparently on WhatsApp before you commit.

Why the journey home matters
The diaspora’s bond with Bharat’s sacred geography
For centuries, Indians who crossed the seas — as traders, indentured labourers, students and professionals — carried their gods with them. A small murti in a suitcase, a Gita on the shelf, a diya lit at Diwali in a faraway city: the thread to Bharat was never cut, only stretched. Today more than 30 million people of Indian origin live across over 200 countries, and for many the deepest pull home is not a place but a practice — a darshan promised to a parent, a ritual owed to an ancestor, a sanskaar to be passed to a child born abroad.
Bharat’s sacred geography — the Char Dham at the four corners, the twelve Jyotirlingas, the Shakti Peethas, the tirthas along the Ganga at Kashi, Gaya and Prayag — is a living map of belonging. To stand at Kedarnath with your father, to do pind-daan for a grandmother at Gaya, to give your children their first darshan at Ayodhya or Tirupati is to re-knot the thread. DharmikVibes exists to make that journey home simple, dignified and worry-free, so distance never decides your dharma.
Ways to bring your family home to dharma
Whether you fly in together or arrange it from abroad, these are the experiences NRI families turn to most — the rites for elders and ancestors, the yatras paced for grandparents, and the heritage we pass on to children born overseas.
End-to-end, from your doorstep
One team takes care of the whole DharmikYatra — from flight booking and pickup at your home (or on arrival in India) to every darshan, stay, ritual and meal, all the way to a safe return. You decide the temples and dates; we carry every link of the chain so nothing falls on you or your elders.
Spiritual care for parents & family in India
For the parents and loved ones who live back in India while you are abroad — we look after their spiritual life on your behalf, end-to-end. Regular temple darshan arranged for elderly parents, pujas done in your family’s name on festivals and tithis, prasad and blessings delivered to their door, and someone checking in on their wellbeing as seva. So even oceans away, you know your family is cared for, in body and in spirit.
Ancestral & Pitru rites
Shraddh, tarpan and pind-daan performed gotra-correct by verified pandits at Gaya, Kashi and Haridwar — and live-streamed so family who stayed abroad can join the sankalp in real time.
Kuldevta & gotra heritage darshan
Trace and visit your family kuldevta or gram-devta shrine — the deity your ancestors served. We help locate the temple, arrange the right puja and connect the generations to where the lineage began.
Multi-generational family yatra
Journeys paced for elderly parents and young children together — gentle days, wheelchair-friendly routes, rest built in, and a coordinator who keeps grandparents comfortable while the kids stay engaged.
Ganga aarti & sacred-river rituals
The evening aarti at Kashi, Haridwar and Rishikesh, with reserved ghat seating for elders, a sankalp in your family’s name, and a sacred Ganga-snan arranged with dignity and care.
Char Dham & Kumbh on your DharmikYatra
Slot a Char Dham darshan or a Kumbh snan into the DharmikYatra you’re already planning — booked early for the high-altitude season, with helicopter options for elders and verified tent stays for the mela.
Samskaras for the next generation
The rites of passage that root a diaspora child in dharma — naam-karan (naming), mundan, the upanayana (sacred thread), and a first temple darshan made warm and memorable.
Meditation & yoga — in person, kept alive from abroad
Do the practice on Indian soil where it lives — an in-person Rishikesh or Haridwar ashram retreat, family sadhana and pranayama by the Ganga, slotted into your DharmikYatra and gentle enough for children and grandparents together. Then keep it going back home with online satsang and sadhana scheduled for your time zone, so the whole family holds one thread between visits.
Vedic astrology (Jyotish) guidance
A trusted Jyotish reading for your family’s milestones — kundli and birth-chart for a child born abroad, an auspicious muhurat for a puja, yatra, wedding or housewarming, and kuldevta- and gotra-aware graha-shanti, dosha and gemstone remedies. Consults are scheduled across your time zone, so distance is never a reason to skip the guidance your parents would have sought.
Pujas & rituals — online or in person
A puja in your family name and gotra at your kuldevta or a chosen temple — attend it live online from abroad while a verified pandit performs the sankalp on your behalf, or in person on your DharmikYatra. In-person we arrange temple pujas, abhishek, havan and special-occasion rituals with you present, even a doorstep pandit; online we live-stream the sankalp from the temple so family overseas join in real time.
Blessed prasad & tirth, couriered abroad
When the family couldn’t travel, the blessing still reaches home. Sacred prasad and offerings from temples across India — tulsi, vibhuti, a chunari, and Ganga jal / holy water from the tirthas — packed with care and couriered to your home abroad, so a parent in another country still receives the temple’s blessing in their hands.
Spiritual learning for diaspora children
Give the next generation the words and meaning of their tradition — Gita and Sanskrit for children abroad, understanding your kuldevta, gotra and parampara, and live-streamed katha so grandparents overseas join in real time.
Concierge care for NRI families
When parents are flying in after years away, or you’re arranging a yatra you can’t join, the details matter. Our concierge tiers wrap the whole journey in one human team — on your time zone, on the ground in India. No prices here; everything is scoped transparently on WhatsApp.

What we arrange
VIP darshan, pujas in your name, live for family abroad
You decide the temple and the dates; we handle everything inside the gates. Below is the broad shape of what a DharmikVibes coordinator arranges for an NRI darshan.
Darshan
| VIP / skip-the-line darshan | Priority-line access at major shrines |
|---|---|
| Puja in your gotra & name | Sankalp by a verified pandit, on your tithi |
| Ancestral rites | Asthi visarjan · pind-daan · tarpan · shraddh |
| Family ceremonies | Mundan · annaprashan · wedding sankalp · rudrabhishek |
| Live darshan for family abroad | Video-streamed so relatives overseas can join |
Darshan and puja arrangements run through official temple channels and verified pandits, and vary by shrine, festival and crowd. Message us with your temple and dates and we will confirm exactly what is possible for your family.
Dress code & what to carry
Modest traditional attire is best for darshan — for men a kurta-pyjama or dhoti, for women a saree or salwar-kameez. Many South Indian temples (e.g. Tirupati, Rameshwaram) require traditional dress and may not allow Western wear inside; we advise you per shrine. Leather belts and bags are often disallowed in sanctums. Don’t worry if you’re out of practice — your coordinator briefs the whole family before you arrive.
Plan around these windows
Festivals & yatra seasons NRIs time their DharmikYatra to
Most NRI families anchor their DharmikYatra to a festival or the open season of a high-altitude shrine. Here are the windows worth planning around — tell us yours and we build the yatra outward from it.

- Sep–Oct (annual)Navratri & Durga Puja Shakti Peetha darshan and garba/dandiya across India
- Feb–Mar (annual)Maha Shivratri Jyotirlinga darshan — Kashi, Mahakaleshwar, Somnath
High-altitude yatra season
- Apr/May – Oct/Nov (annual)Char Dham season Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri open only in these months — book early for seniors
Once-in-years gatherings
- Jan–Apr 2027Kumbh — Haridwar Ardh Kumbh NRI family packs — snan, ghat seating, verified tent stays
- 2026–2028Kumbh — Nashik & Ujjain Simhastha Plan a Simhastha visit around your DharmikYatra
Lunar tithis for some snan are confirmed nearer the time. Message us for the latest schedule.
